Merry Christmas
Hello from cold and foggy London. We pray all is well with you. We as a family just want to say Merry Christmas to each one of you. We take this time of the year to celebrate the birth of Jesus who is the Savior of the world. Some might say He was not born on the 25th of December while others might believe that He was. To me it does not matter. What matters is that we take this time and celebrate Him. One of the reasons He came was to destroy the works of the devil and if that was the only reason then He is worthy to be celebrated on Christmas. But that is not the main reason, so what is it? You, you and I (the world), we are the reason He chose to come and take on human flesh.
There is no other religion in the world where their god “so loved the world [you] that He gave His only begotten…” that is Jesus (John 3:16). May we all realize that we are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and because a young teenage girl was willing to be the “maidservant of the Lord” a Child was born and because He was born we have access to the God of all creation. May you know this Christmas how loved and cherished you are. Merry Christmas
